I went to bed while chatting on the phone with one of my very favorite people in the whole world! What a wonderful way to end the day!
And then I woke up this morning... got up, and then, the electricity went out. For an hour.
I walked outside and the humidity slapped me in the face. Hard. And then, I saw it. The most perfect, beautiful bloom of the whole year. And that was made me smile....

We have these two hings in common. I had wonderful video phone call last night too, and I enjoy little moments of beauty tucked away in the humdrum world. I applaud your aking time to smell the flowers, take its picture, and post it.

Was that Impatiens? I use to grow them all over our front yard. I know this is late to be viewing it, but I just found it. Kind of like discovering the flower itself like you did!
