I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I spent about 6 days down at Orange Beach with the sun and rain taking turns showing their faces. Christmas Day was to windy and cold to enjoy much of anything on the beach.
BTW, if you ever go down that way and looking for a place to eat, try Lambert's Cafe. www.throwedrolls.com .
But, I'm glad to be home.... ain't nothing like it!!

Jackie,
Just blowing into town to wish you a happy and healthy 2007. I've been laying low due to some health concerns, nothing too lasting or serious. But I have missed visiting. Hope Santa had you on his good list.
I am leaving for East Texas and limited Internet access until April. So I'm saying Happy Trails, and I'll definitely be in touch again when I return. (That's a warning.) Take good care of yourself, and thanks for all the smiles this year.

Orange Beach is wonderful. Love the pictures. I have spent a lot of time at the beach on he Pacific coast. Our Pacific beach is supposed to be so "calm" but looks more active and steep than the gulf coast. I have been swimming in the Atlantic and found you could walk hundereds of feet from shore and still only be waist deep. Not so in CA. Slopes are steeper and waves wilder. The beach in winter sure looks deserted.
