Book Review: A Smile as Big as the Moon

By: Mike Kersjes

This true life story is about a couple of special education teachers and their hurdles, triumphs, and the rewards of getting their learning-disabled class to the Space and Rocket Space Camp in Huntsville, AL.  This inspirational story that could be a spirit-lifting read for those teachers who are in need of a pick-me-up when you begin to wonder what your classes could truly learn if inspired.  I can see where some science fiction fans might enjoy it also due to the large amount of space technology language.

BTW, if you have never toured the Space and Rocket Center it is amazing!  Here is a link to their site:  U.S. Space & Rocket Center   The real Saturn V that can be seen for miles is breath-taking!!
