I drove in from work, got out of the car, walked in and something moved!! It was on the floor and it began to move, jumping! I turned on the light and it was a frog. Now, how did a frog get into my house? A frog?
Finally, I caught him and put him outside.
Thank goodness it wasn't a snake!!

But that is exactly what I found in my kitchen one day... a garden snake coiled up in a corner. Don't know how it got in, but my son bravely caught it and carried it out the door. The worst thing I have found in my house was a two foot long snakeskin in my storage room in the basement of our house... perfectly formed... no tears, no pieces. One long piece. So, I wondered, where was the snake that had outgrown this skin? We never found him... maybe he went out the same way he came in.I hope.
(I have a frog collection) There's been a few occasions where frogs have ended up in my house. Like you, I caught 'em and put 'em outside. I wondered, too, how they got in my house, especially the odd colored one in the bathroom.
Reminds me of a story of mine: http://journals.aol.com/inquestoftruth/InQuestOf/entries/2006/03/13/in-quest-of-a-killer-leaf/1096
