Special Olympics

Recently, one of my former students was selected to participate in the International Special Olympics in China. The team left the USA last week and are now in China. Here is the link for the pictures they have added. I saw my student in one of them. He better bring home the gold!

I know you must be very proud.  I am hoping for the Gold also. ~Mary

Hey now! Don't forget the Special Olympic OATH, "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt." ... I've always found it fascinating that these were allegedly the same words traditionally spoken by Roman gladiators entering an arena.
You must be busting with pride and support!

A proud moment for you! Congratulations on your student being chosen to participate. Wonderful honor. Keeping him in my prayers on the smoke, he comes back with a Gold. (Hugs) Indigo
